If
the parties decide before the arbitration hearing to be bound
by the arbitrator's decision, then either party after arbitration
may take the arbitrator's written decision to court for enforcement.
Although most courts charge a filing fee in order to enforce an
arbitrator's decision, the lower costs, fewer delays, and degree
of unpredictability of arbitration remains much better than if
the case were to completely go through traditional court litigation.
